SCHOLARSHIPS
This past weekend the worry of college tuition dawned on me. In a frantic attempt to ease my fears, I educated myself by researching collegiate soccer scholarship.
Exposure
The Olympic Development Program is one of the best ways to introduce your child into the scouting pool, while giving them a once in a lifetime experience. The ODP gives players a chance to compete internationally within their age group. It also gives them the most favorable chances of being scouted.
Having experience with a club and/or a highly regarded high school team can help with exposure as well. Both are competitive leagues and require the players to be at a certain skill level.
Keep Studying
Don’t let your child forget about their studies. Most colleges have their own minimum GPA, so be aware of the requirements.
